The General Directorate of Internal Security Forces - Public Relations Division issued the following statement: Two unidentified persons in the locality of Sin El Fil - Al-Dawamari Street threw a bomb, which led to its explosion, causing fear and panic in the hearts of citizens, and severely damaging the car of a resident of the area, on 03-29-2026. Immediately, the specialized units of the Internal Security Forces began their field procedures at the site of the accident, and as a result of the follow-up it was found that the two perpetrators came on board a “Hyundai” van. Through extensive investigations and investigations, the Information Division was able to determine their identities: -G. M. (Born in 1987, Lebanese) – M. H. (Born in 1994, Syrian) They have a history of drug crimes, kidnapping, and selling counterfeit currency. On 03-30-2026, after a careful monitoring and follow-up process, the Division’s patrols were able to arrest the first in the Wadi Khaled locality, and at the same time the second was arrested while trying to flee to Syria through one of the illegal crossings in the aforementioned locality. During their interrogation, they confessed to what was attributed to them in that they threw the bomb in the Sin El Fil area, without targeting a specific person, and that was under the influence of drugs and alcohol. The legal requirements were carried out against them, and the relevant authority was filed based on the reference of the competent judiciary, and the van used in the operation was also seized.
