Fady Mahouly
In a statement, the Electricité du Liban Corporation reassured citizens that “all measures taken aim to ensure the continuity of electrical supply and secure basic services for public facilities, especially the port, the airport, water pumps, sanitation, palaces of justice, and prisons... and that the Corporation is constantly keeping pace with developments to take appropriate measures in their wake.”
She said: “In reference to the statement of the Electricité du Liban Corporation dated 3/10/2026, the corporation confirms once again that the electrical supply is secured for a period of more than a month as it is, thanks to the adopted operational precautionary measures. It also confirms that it has an acceptable stock of fuel and that the supply of fuel is still running normally and continuously.”
She stressed that "the issue of amending the tariff is not currently on its table, as it is still the same: the first 100 kilowatt-hours are subsidized at a price of 10 US cents, and anything above that is at a price of 27 cents."
It renewed its call to all concerned parties and subscribers to pay their due dues regularly, as this has a direct impact on supporting the continuity of the public facility and maintaining electrical supply hours, in a way that serves the interest of Lebanese citizens throughout the entire Lebanese territory.
