The Army Command explained that as a result of the escalation of the Israeli aggression against Lebanon, especially in areas witnessing a hostile incursion around the southern border towns, which leads to the deployed army units being besieged and isolated and their supply lines cut off, the army carried out a repositioning and redeployment operation that included a number of these units. The leadership indicated that it continues to stand by the people according to the available capabilities, by maintaining a group of military personnel in those towns. As the Israeli attacks continue without discrimination between military and civilians in various regions, the army leadership stresses the danger of incitement and questioning the role of the military institution by some media outlets and social networking sites, and the negative repercussions that this causes on the people and internal tension, while the institution is making its utmost efforts to carry out its duty within the available capabilities, in light of great pressures and challenges resulting from the current delicate circumstances.
