The Army Command - Directorate of Orientation issued the following statement: “An army unit destroyed an area planted with hashish, estimated at 60 dunams, in the town of Al-Kannah - Baalbek, and arrested 17 Syrian workers there without legal papers, and seized equipment used in harvesting hashish from their possession. The seized items were handed over, and investigations began with those arrested under the supervision of the competent judiciary.”
