The media department of the Forces Party denied the news circulating that party leader Samir Geagea was involved in a traffic accident and was taken to St. John's Hospital in Jounieh, stressing that this news is false. She explained in a statement that one of the cars of the party leader’s convoy was on its way to Jounieh and was involved in a normal traffic accident, as a result of which the protection personnel were transferred to St. John’s Hospital in Jounieh for regular medical examinations. She said that the head of the Lebanese Forces Party and his wife, MP Strida Geagea, thanked everyone who called to check in, wishing all Lebanese people good health and peace of mind.
