Hezbollah issued a statement regarding the third anniversary of the Al-Aqsa Flood, in which it said: “Three consecutive years have passed in the history of the region, and the debate has not yet been resolved, over the narratives of the Al-Aqsa Flood that shook the world on October 7, 2023, and reminded them of the issue of Palestine, which the arrogant powers and their accomplices made strenuous efforts over the years to stifle it in the cave of oblivion and the corridors of bargaining.”
He pointed out that "those who understand the justifications and motives of the flood conclude in their series of evidence and arguments that the flood was a courageous, qualitative, natural, justified and legitimate act of resistance in comparison to the extent of the injustice and obliteration that threatened Palestine and its people with dissolution. The Al-Aqsa flood was a major shock whose results were measured by the balance of values and laws and the high level of their influence in politics, and not according to the balance of power, superiority and excessive use of violence, even the extermination of women and children." Just as the Zionist enemy did in Gaza.”
Hezbollah said in its statement: “Although the peoples of the world have risen up and demonstrated in victory for the human values and rights whose Palestinian cause was sparked by the Al-Aqsa flood, capitals and universities in the West were flooded with marches denouncing and condemning genocide and crimes against humanity, while the region surrounding Palestine was confused by the flood process because it was the opposite of the defeatist normalization path that the regimes were leading the region to according to the will of the Zionist entity and its international supporters. Three years, during which the world was flooded with news and images of Zionist and American brutality and barbarism, and their Western alliances, have not yet ended in resolving the confrontation over Gaza and its political and legal future in the interest of the Zionist enemy and its supporters, and the narrative of the cautious objectors to the flood has not yet gained any weight, despite the cries and lamentations over the ruins, destruction, and human and material losses that the Zionist enemy has committed without any regard for international laws or human rights.
He pointed out that "despite that brutality and genocide, the enemy was not able to end Hamas, the resistance factions, or the people of Gaza, and did not achieve peace, not even a truce or temporary stability. The situation is still open to developments whose repercussions extend beyond the Gaza Strip to the future of the entire region, the issue of Palestine, and international security and peace. Rather, it goes beyond the lie of the international system and claims of protecting human rights. It is not enough for the present to tip the balance over American- and Western-backed Zionist brutality over The rights of the oppressed Palestinian people are in the balance, so that it can be said that international peace is moving in the region towards achieving security and stability. There is no security to be expected and no stability to bet on in light of the neglect of the rights of peoples and the overriding of their self-determination.”
He said: “Three years have passed since the flood of Al-Aqsa, and the roaring waves are still threatening the ungrateful and tyrants with drowning and disappointment. Despite all the tactical successes they have achieved, they will remain unable and even paralyzed to invest them to achieve a stable strategic situation in their favor. This is due to the resistance’s solidity and stubbornness and its people’s belief in the right and justice of their cause, which deserves all the challenges and sacrifices.”
He revealed that “the Al-Aqsa flood revealed the greatness of the Palestinian people, the strength of their will, and the steadfastness of their steadfastness in the face of the Israeli killing machine, and exposed the true face of the stoned and brutal Zionist entity, and behind it the American enemy and the forces of global arrogance. It also exposed the falsity of the claims of the international community and its institutions regarding the defense of freedom and justice, and revealed their inability to protect the most basic human rights, and exposed the negligent and accomplices who chose to remain silent in the face of the most heinous crimes, massacres and genocide against a people who chose to... He resists his occupier and fights for his freedom, dignity, and the restoration of his land and rights.”
The statement said: “Hezbollah in Lebanon, which is committed to believing in the justice of the Palestinian cause and does not hesitate to support its resistant and oppressed people, renews its blatant condemnation of the blatant Zionist genocide of all the false values of the international community, and holds the American administration and Western countries silent in condemning the crimes of the Zionists, whether in genocide or against humanity. It also calls on the peoples of the world to rise up to protect human rights, maintain justice, and prevent the powerful from controlling international law and its applications.”
He added: “As we pray to God Almighty to accept the sacrifices of the heroic leaders, mujahideen and martyrs of Hamas, Islamic Jihad, and all other resistance factions, and to help our people in Gaza, the West Bank, and all of Palestine to be patient and united in their position to drop the goals of the project targeting the entire Palestinian cause and all its people as well, we call on the hands of all these resistance factions to be steadfast and cohesive around their vision and position against the enemy’s project, its supporters, and the accomplices.” With him, we also alert the rulers of the region that silence, politeness, and courtesy to the enemy and his allies will only end up undermining their authority and weakening them, and enabling the enemy to control the future of their countries and their people. Circumstances are not destinies that are difficult to change, and the will of the people, when they improve the use of the elements of transformation, remains capable of shaping the present and creating the future.
