The President of the Republic, Joseph Aoun, received the Minister of the Interior and Municipalities, Ahmad al-Hajjar, and discussed with him the situation in the south and the continuation of the Israeli attacks. After the meeting, Al-Hajjar pointed out the importance of strengthening the state’s presence in the south, which began with the visit of the President of the Republic and was completed by the visit of the Prime Minister, accompanied by a number of ministers. He added that the research dealt with the general security situation, stressing that it is following up on various files and continuing to strengthen the measures taken by the Ministry of Interior and Municipalities to provide security and safety for citizens.
