The President of the Republic, Joseph Aoun, received MP Michel Douaihy at Baabda Palace, where they discussed the entitlements and challenges that await Lebanon in the next stage, especially the security conditions in light of the war and existing tensions, and the necessity of protecting Lebanon and the Lebanese and maintaining security and stability. The meeting also discussed the living and economic conditions, the expected financial reform projects, and the importance of approaching these files responsibly and seriously, in a way that contributes to addressing the accumulated crises and paving the way for economic recovery. Al-Duwaihi stressed after the meeting the necessity of concerted national efforts to confront this delicate stage, and to put the interests of Lebanon and the Lebanese above all considerations.
