A member of the “Strong Republic” bloc, MP Nazih Matta, went to the Minister of Education and Higher Education, Rima Karami, and asked her to “answer her phone”! Matta said, on the sidelines of a protest movement in front of Maroun Abboud High School in Reshmiya: “I want to tell the minister: Answer the phone. We have been trying to contact her for some time, but she is not answering.” Representatives Raji Al-Saad and Cesar Abi Khalil also expressed their denunciation of the Minister of Education’s decision.
