President Joseph Aoun received this afternoon at Baabda Palace Prime Minister Dr. Nawaf Salam, and briefed him on the results of his visit to New York and Washington, and the positive conversations he held with a number of American and international officials, which dealt with the situation in Lebanon and the region. President Nawaf Salam also briefed the President on the atmosphere of his tour this afternoon in the Nabatieh region, and the meetings he held with officials and citizens, which addressed the needs of the people of the region. The two presidents discussed the steps that must be taken to address livelihood and life issues, and the measures approved by the Council of Ministers at its session yesterday.
