Hezbollah's media relations categorically denied any relationship or connection between Hezbollah and the alleged cell that the Syrian Ministry of Interior announced its arrest in the Yarmouk Basin area in Daraa. She reiterated that the party has no presence in Syrian territory, and has no connection to any security or military activity there. The party affirmed its constant concern for Syria's security, stability, and safety of its people. It called on the Syrian official authorities to be alert to the attempts that aim to use the name of Hezbollah in order to raise tension and sow discord between Lebanon and Syria, to investigate the background of these allegations and the parties behind them, and to search for the real beneficiary of fueling tension between the two countries, which is the Israeli army, which is intensifying its attacks on Syria and Lebanon, and seeking to destabilize the security and stability of the region.
