MP Ghassan Hasbani called for canceling the fixed fees imposed by the government on fuel, in light of the sharp rise in its prices globally.
Hasbani indicated, through his account on the “X” platform, that the Minister of Energy, Joe Al-Saddi, had reservations about these fees since they were approved, based on the proposal of the Minister of Finance, before he explicitly demanded their cancellation or suspension of their implementation when global prices rose.
He stressed that protecting citizens and the economy requires not doubling the repercussions of the global crisis by imposing additional local fees.
