Today, Saturday, the Court of Appeal in Creteil, southeast of Paris, ruled that Moroccan singer Saad Lamjarred be imprisoned for ten years in a rape case, increasing the sentence imposed on him in 2023, which had required him to be imprisoned for six years. The Public Prosecution reported that the ruling against Lamjarred, 41 years old, included an order to place him in prison, after he was convicted of rape coupled with an aggravating circumstance of committing the crime under the influence of alcohol. The prosecution had requested that he be imprisoned for eight years.
