US President Donald Trump announced that he rejected a new proposal from Iran regarding the cessation of hostilities and the reopening of the Strait of Hormuz, about seven months after the outbreak of war in the Middle East.
Trump indicated that Iran wants to conclude an agreement under which it opens the Strait because they are losing badly.
He added: Huge quantities of oil are coming out of the Strait of Hormuz, and last night 29 ships left it. They want to make a deal and that's okay. I also like making deals.”
