Earlier today, Friday, a field tension occurred between the Lebanese Army and the Israeli army forces in the town of Deir Mimas in southern Lebanon. Information indicated that the Lebanese Army sent reinforcements to a newly established point in Deir Mimas, coinciding with the advance of Israeli forces towards the area. Al-Hadath sources revealed that "Israel is demanding that the Lebanese Army remove a point accompanying the people of Deir Mimas." In this context, military sources confirmed that the Lebanese Army is still stationed at the site facing the Israeli forces and no clash has occurred so far. An Israeli force had advanced towards the outskirts of the town of Deir Mimas, reaching the intersection area close to a newly established point for the Lebanese Army, amid field movements witnessed in the region.
