The "Depositors' Association", in cooperation with the "Expatriate Depositors' Association", organized a protest in central Beirut to demand a fair plan from the government and parliament to recover their rights, which included burning tires in front of the Government Palace in Riad El Solh Square. The protest witnessed a scuffle between the protesters and the security forces in front of Bank of Beirut, which resulted in injuries among a number of them.
