Today, Wednesday, the US Central Command denied what the Iranian Revolutionary Guard said regarding the bombing of two American destroyers in the Middle East.
She stressed that "no US Navy warship was bombed," noting that all attempts failed.
She added: "On the other hand, American forces succeeded in destroying 10 Iranian tankers during the past week alone. These ships were part of a secret, multi-billion-dollar network that funds the Revolutionary Guard, and Iran is unable to protect them."
The Public Relations of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard announced, in a statement, that the Revolutionary Guard’s naval forces, “in response to the aggression and actions of the terrorist American army during its attack on 5 Iranian oil tankers in the Arabian Gulf,” targeted “two American ships and 8 oil tankers in this region, and caused them severe damage.”
