Minister of Health Rakan Nasser Al-Din, during his patronage of the opening of the new psychological department at Al-Shifa Specialized Hospital in Aramoun, confirmed that “war is not only about fire,” noting that it has many faces. Nasser Al-Din stressed “the importance of the psychological factor,” pointing out that the numbers related to mental health are alarming, and pointing to “frightening indicators among children in shelter centers.” He stressed the state's move towards supporting mental health. He touched on “what happened two days ago, when 11 martyrs and 19 wounded fell in one day,” stressing that “if the south is bleeding, then all of Lebanon is bleeding.” He pointed out, “There are two paths: a path that has not come and will not bring solutions to this country, and which in 15 months has brought more aggression and from the occupied territories, and we are not counting on this path.”
