Prime Minister Nawaf Salam condemned the ongoing Israeli attacks in southern Lebanon, bombing, shelling and systematic destruction, which express a clear violation of the ceasefire, in addition to being a blatant violation of Lebanon’s sovereignty and security, and the principles and rules of international law. Not only does it represent a condemnable escalatory approach, but it also constitutes a threat to the safety of our people in the south, not to mention harming the monuments included on the UNESCO World Heritage List, which represent a cherished part of our nation’s history.
