Based on information about the presence of the former Governor of the Bank of Lebanon, Riad Salameh, in Bahnes Hospital, the Cassation Public Prosecutor indicated that the information be verified and that he be arrested in implementation of the search and investigation report filed against him. The Information Division of the Internal Security Forces and the Central Criminal Investigation Department were assigned to execute and arrest him, and a guard point was set up by the Antelias Platoon at his location in a hospital in Hannas.
