The President of the Republic, General Joseph Aoun, condemned in the strongest terms the attempt to target petroleum installations in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia using drones, considering that such attacks constitute a violation of the Kingdom’s security and stability, and a threat to the security of the region and the interests of its people. President Aoun affirmed Lebanon's solidarity with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in the face of everything that affects its security and sovereignty, reiterating the call to respect the sovereignty of states, refrain from any actions that would inflame regional tensions, and work to give priority to dialogue and peaceful solutions in a way that preserves security and stability in the region.
