The Norwegian national team secured its qualification to the 32nd round of the 2026 World Cup qualifiers after defeating its Senegalese counterpart with a score of 3-2.
Norwegian player Marcus Holmgren Pedersen opened the scoring for Norway in the 43rd minute. Haaland scored the second and third goals in the 48th and 58th minutes.
Haaland reached 4 goals with the Norway national team in the current edition of the tournament, after he also scored a brace during his team’s 4-1 victory over the Iraqi national team in the opening round.
Senegal's English Crystal Palace striker, Ismaila Sarr, scored Senegal's two goals (53 and 90 + 3).
With this victory, Norway has qualified for the round of 32 with 6 points, preceded by France
