After the session, Minister of Education Rima Karami expressed her happiness with the decision to wait on canceling the exams “away from the demagoguery that has prevailed recently,” she said, hoping that this would be a signal to discuss the matter of the certificate. She also pointed out that “the waiting period will not be long to see what developments will reveal,” adding: “I will hold an expanded educational meeting tomorrow, and it is important for us to discuss the repercussions of any decision that will be taken.”
