A military force carried out raids in the Al-Ruwaisat area in the Matn region, where they arrested 3 people on the grounds of firing gunshots during a funeral on 5/19/2026, in the context of tracking down those involved in the shooting throughout Lebanese territory. In a related context, another detachment in the town of Brital in Baalbek raided the homes of people involved in a dispute in which shots were fired, and arrested citizen (B.A.) and confiscated a number of combat weapons and ammunition in his possession, in addition to military equipment and supplies. The detainees were referred to the relevant authorities, while investigations began with those arrested under the supervision of the relevant judiciary, and efforts are continuing to pursue and arrest the rest of those responsible for the shooting.
