On Wednesday morning, protesters blocked the road at the Majdala Junction in Akkar with burning tires in protest against the rulings issued in the general amnesty law file, amid a state of anger and resentment in the region. Protesters also blocked traffic on the Al-Abda-Halba road, Al-Bahsa district, with burning tires. Since last night, the roads have witnessed popular movements in protest, blocking the roads of Majdal Anjar, Sidon, and Khaldeh.
