Stable spring weather until tomorrow afternoon, Wednesday, as Lebanon and the eastern basin of the Mediterranean are affected by an air depression originating from southwestern Turkey, which leads to a drop in temperatures, so the weather gradually turns volatile with scattered rain and active winds that sometimes reach 75 km/h with rising sea waves and will continue until Thursday evening. Note: Average temperatures for the month of May in Beirut are between 18 and 27 degrees, Tripoli is between 15 and 25 degrees, and Zahle is between 13 and 27 degrees. Expected weather in Lebanon: Tuesday: Partly cloudy with high clouds and fog at the highlands. Temperatures will remain slightly unchanged and winds will be active at times. Wednesday: Partly cloudy with moderate and high clouds, with fog on the highlands, and a drop in temperatures on the mountains and in the interior. The winds will also be active, sometimes reaching 75 km/h, especially in the north of the country, and the sea waves will rise with them (we warn against the height of the sea waves, which exceed two metres). The clouds will thicken starting in the afternoon, and the weather will turn cloudy, and the weather will become ready for scattered rain that will become heavy at night, sometimes accompanied by lightning and thunder. Thursday: Partly cloudy to cloudy with fog on the highlands and a significant drop in temperatures that become below their seasonal averages. Scattered rain will fall with the possibility of lightning, thunder, and active winds of up to 50 km/h, with which the sea waves will rise. The weather will gradually improve starting in the afternoon and turn into few clouds in the evening. Friday: Partly cloudy with fog over the highlands and high temperatures inland and on the mountains, while the coast remains unchanged.
