Israeli occupation army spokesman Avichai Adraee announced that last night, the Israeli army carried out a raid in the Baalbek area that led to the martyrdom of leader Wael Mahmoud Abdel Halim, who he said was the commander of the Islamic Jihad organization in the Bekaa region in Lebanon. He added that, according to the Israeli statement, Abdel Halim led members of the Islamic Jihad organization to join the fighting alongside Hezbollah in Lebanon. He also accused him of working during the recent period to promote plans described as “terrorist” against the forces of the Israeli enemy army.
