Secretary-General of the National Council for Scientific Research, Shadi Abdullah, indicated that 50,424 housing units were destroyed and damaged from March 2 to April 16, 2026. He said that the number of Israeli attacks reached 8,200 between March 2 and April 16, 2026, while 3,318 violations were recorded between April 17 and May 11, in addition to 2,324 air violations. Abdullah confirmed that the 10 villages that were most destroyed from March 2 to May 8 were Khiam Marjayoun, Bint Jbeil, Zawtar Sharqiya, Kafra Bint Jbeil, Yater, Al-Tabiya, Marjayoun, Srifa, Mansouri Sour, Haboush, Nabatieh, and Majdal Salam. He pointed out that the total number of completely and partially destroyed and damaged housing units in the 2023-2024 war and violations amounted to 230,436, and from March 2, 2026 until May 8, 2026, it reached 61,056.
