Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu stressed the necessity of dismantling the nuclear facilities in Iran and removing the enriched uranium from them, even by force.
Netanyahu added in an interview with the American CBS network that Israel "dealt a major blow to Iran, but the war is not over yet."
Netanyahu gave a television interview with the 60 Minutes program on CBS News, in his first media appearance since the outbreak of the war with Iran, which began after the joint attack carried out by Israel and the United States.
Meanwhile, the Islamic Republic of Iran News Agency reported on Sunday that Iran had sent its response to the Pakistani mediator regarding the latest American proposal to end the war that broke out more than two months ago.
The agency quoted an informed source as saying that Iran suggested that the talks during the current stage focus on ending hostilities in the region.
Sources from both sides told Reuters that recent peace efforts aim to reach a temporary memorandum of understanding to stop the war and allow passage through the Strait of Hormuz until a more comprehensive agreement is reached that includes resolving intractable disputes, such as the Iranian nuclear program.
The American network reported that Netanyahu spoke during the interview about the current developments in the Middle East, the chances of reaching political agreements, in addition to the details of his conversation with US President Donald Trump inside the “situation room” before making the decision to carry out the attack on Iran.
