The Israeli army announced that it “continues to work to eliminate threats against Israel and its forces in southern Lebanon.”
Israeli army spokeswoman Ella Wawiyah said: “During the last 24 hours, the Israeli army raided from the air and from the ground more than 85 Hezbollah infrastructure. Among the infrastructure that was attacked were: weapons warehouses, launching pads, and buildings used for military purposes, from which Hezbollah members worked to advance plans against the Israeli army and Israel.”
She added: "In the Bekaa Valley, the Israeli army raided an underground site used by Hezbollah to produce weapons designed to target the Israeli army and Israeli citizens. Hezbollah members who worked to advance plans against our forces operating in southern Lebanon were also attacked."
She concluded: "In addition, during the last twenty-four hours, Hezbollah fired several rocket shells towards Israeli army forces in southern Lebanon, south of the front defensive line. The shells fell near our forces, without causing casualties."
