The Army Command announced that a patrol from the Intelligence Directorate came under fire in the Al-Qasr - Hermel area while carrying out an operation to seize a mechanism used to transport and manufacture drugs. She said: The directorate was able to control the mechanism. She indicated that the clash resulted in the death of one of the wanted men, while the other fled to an unknown destination, and follow-up is being conducted to arrest him. She concluded: The seized items were handed over and the investigation was launched under the supervision of the competent judiciary.
