The Intelligence Directorate arrested the citizen (A.S.) for publishing an offensive picture and writings against a religious figure and a number of state symbols, and for inciting sectarian strife on social media sites on 5/1/2/2026, against the backdrop of a video clip broadcast by a television station. An investigation was launched with the detainee under the supervision of the competent judiciary.
