Hezbollah: The Syrian allegations are incorrect
Fady Mahouly
Hezbollah media relations categorically denied the false accusations issued by the Syrian Ministry of Interior, which claimed the dismantling of a Hezbollah cell that was planning to carry out security operations inside Syrian territory.
She stressed that the repetition of these allegations by the Syrian security authorities, despite our repeatedly announcing that there is no Hezbollah presence inside Syrian territory, and that it does not have any activity there, raises major question marks, and confirms that there are those who seek to ignite tension and strife between the Syrian and Lebanese peoples.
She said: Hezbollah wants all the best for Syria and its people, and for it to enjoy complete security and stability, and that any threat to the security of Syria is a threat to the security of Lebanon, and that Hezbollah has never been an entity working to destabilize the security of any country or target the stability of its people. Rather, it has been and will remain in a position of defense in the face of the Zionist enemy and its expansionist projects, which is the enemy of Lebanon and Syria who occupies their lands and covets their wealth and the goods of their people.
