Ali Akbar Velayati, advisor to Iranian Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei, wrote on his page on the “X” platform a message addressed to the crew of the American amphibious assault ship “USS Tripoli,” saying: “Your presence will turn into a nightmare for your security.” Velayati added in his warning message: “You are just extras in a propaganda film for Trump in the upcoming presidential elections. Your president was unable to save the American forces in the previous war, and now, you are tasked with protecting our region’s financial resources, but your fate will be massacre.” He continued: "History is the best teacher. The Tripoli disaster will not be repeated in the Gulf, but rather it will turn into a nightmare that will destroy your security!"
