Ministerial sources close to the presidency said that the Lebanese presidency has not received an invitation to visit the United States yet, stressing that a meeting with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is not on the table at the present time. She indicated that it is expected that a third preparatory meeting will be held between the ambassadors in Washington this week, with the possibility of the participation of the head of the Lebanese delegation in the “Mechanisms” Committee, Ambassador Simon Karam, provided that this matter will be decided after coordination with the American side to find out whether his participation will bring a qualitative addition to the meeting.
