Information Minister Paul Morcos affirmed that, “We are ready to go to negotiations, and this is a bold and advanced position that adheres to Lebanon’s sovereign rights.” He pointed out that, "The position of the Shiite duo in the House of Representatives does not undermine ministerial solidarity in the government. They agreed on a ministerial statement and a plan, and the differences in political positions will not hinder the government." He said: "The Ministry of Information is not the judiciary, and we are keen not to arrest journalists, and we are continuing with campaigns and initiatives to not harm the dignity of others and the sanctity of the dead."
