The following was issued by the General Directorate of Internal Security Forces - Public Relations Division: “As part of the ongoing efforts made by the Internal Security Forces to combat crimes of all kinds and prosecute their perpetrators in all Lebanese regions, information was available to the Office for Combating Trafficking in Persons and Protection of Morals in the Judicial Police Unit about a network active in the field of human trafficking and facilitating prostitution in the Keserwan region. As a result of monitoring and follow-up, one of the office’s patrols on 04/21/2026 was able to arrest members of the network red-handed in the Tabarja locality, in addition to one of the clients, all of whom are of Syrian nationality, and they are: S. A. (Born in 1973) M. S. (Born in 1999) H. A. (Born in 1994) M. M. (Born in 2005) e. Z. (Born in 1989) H. n. (Born in 1993) M. M. (Born in 1990) A. A. (Born in 2008) The customer Upon interrogation, they confessed to what was attributed to them, and declared that the mastermind of this network was the one who had been invited: b. A. (Born in 1975, Syria) She lures girls and sends them to Lebanon to work in the field of prostitution. She resides in Syria and runs the network’s work from there, in coordination with (S.A.) and (M.S.), where they are detained inside a building in the Tabarja locality, their identification papers are seized, and they are employed in prostitution in exchange for a monthly allowance. The building was sealed with red wax, and the client was released in exchange for a residence permit, while legal action was taken against the rest of the detainees, and a search and investigation report was circulated against (B.A.), based on the reference of the competent judiciary.”
