The head of the economic bodies, former Minister Mohamed Choucair, said after his meeting with the President of the Republic, General Joseph Aoun, with a delegation: “We say to His Excellency the President: We are by your side.” Choucair added: “President Aoun’s decisions and courage gave hope for a more beautiful Lebanon,” considering that the country is tired of wars and destruction and needs to build a stable and prosperous state. He pointed out that "the direct and indirect losses of the war are estimated at between one hundred and fifty and one hundred and sixty million dollars per day."
