Israeli army spokesman Avichai Adraee announced that the Israeli army killed Hezbollah Secretary-General Naim Qassem in Beirut and targeted a series of infrastructure last night in southern Lebanon. He said via “X”: “The Israeli army attacked and killed yesterday, Wednesday in Beirut, the so-called Ali Yousef Harshi, the personal secretary of the Secretary-General of Hezbollah and the nephew of Naim Qassem. Harshi was close and a personal advisor to the Secretary-General of Hezbollah, Naim Qassem, and played a central role in managing and securing his office.” He added: "Also, during the hours last night, the Israeli army attacked two additional central crossings used by Hezbollah members as transportation routes from the north of the Litani River to its south in Lebanon to transport thousands of combat means, rocket shells, and launch platforms. About 10 weapons depots, launch pads, and command headquarters belonging to Hezbollah in southern Lebanon were also targeted."
