The Army Command - Directorate of Orientation issued the following statement: Within the framework of combating organized crimes and prosecuting those who disturb security, the Intelligence Directorate arrested (H.J.), one of the most prominent drug traffickers, after determining his whereabouts outside the country, as a result of coordination with the relevant authorities. He was received and transferred to Lebanon via Rafic Hariri International Airport. He is wanted for several crimes, most notably shooting at army posts, which led to the martyrdom of soldiers, in addition to his involvement in kidnappings for ransom. An investigation was launched with the detainee under the supervision of the competent judiciary.
