The Public Prosecutor of Cassation, Ahmed Rami Al-Hajj, assigned the head of the Central Criminal Investigation Department to open an investigation into the matter of the correspondence received from the Minister of Health, and the list of medicines that he had requested from the Director General of the Ministry of Health to investigate, and to inspect the warehouses belonging to the companies and agents importing those medicines, with the aim of seizing them and preventing their circulation, and revealing the full identity of the company owners. Provided that inspections and drug seizures take place in the presence of an observer from the Pharmacy and Inspection Department at the Ministry of Health, and the Cassation Public Prosecutor is informed of the results.
