The head of the Lebanese Forces Party, Samir Geagea, asked: “Does anyone believe that the Kingdom is under fire?” Waging any war against any other country in the region, for one reason or another? Has the Kingdom ever trampled on the sovereignty of any other country? He continued: “With regard to the war in Yemen, and contrary to what the axis of resistance is promoting, the Houthis were, from the first moment, the initiators of a complete coup, in broad daylight, against the legitimate authority represented by President Abd Rabbuh Mansour Hadi, which was supported by more than 90% of the Yemeni people at that time. Despite the Houthi coup, the Kingdom made tremendous efforts to find an acceptable solution between the legitimate government and the Houthis, and reached a draft for this. The solution is in the year 2023. The result and reward was that the Houthis are currently targeting the life, economic and human facilities in the Kingdom.” He said: “The kingdom is under fire, but if evil has one round, then truth will have a thousand and one rounds.” He concluded by offering his condolences to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and to the families of the victims who fell as a result of the attack on King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh, and in other places in the Kingdom, while wishing a speedy recovery for all the wounded.
