Today, Friday, US Secretary of State Marco Rubio announced the imposition of new sanctions on the International Criminal Court, indicating that they would prohibit dealing with what he described as a “rogue court,” cut off its sources of funding, and undermine its ability to work against the United States. Rubio said that he expects Washington's allies who are members of the court, and who rely on American protection, to restrain it, warning that the United States will continue to work to dismantle it if this is not done.
