US President Donald Trump announced on Friday that the United States had removed “the largest amount of oil” from the Strait of Hormuz since the start of the war yesterday, stressing that Washington had prevented Iran from obtaining a nuclear weapon. Trump said that the crisis “will end soon, one way or another,” considering that Iran no longer has an army, naval and air forces, or air defense systems. He also pointed out that there is “important news” regarding the diesel crisis, stressing that the US administration will work to address it “vigorously.”
