Gold prices rose today, as investors assessed ongoing concerns about inflation and the path of the Federal Reserve (the US central bank) regarding interest rates, according to “Reuters”. Gold rose in spot transactions 0.3 percent to $4,147.77 per ounce by 0043 GMT, after hitting its lowest level in two months on Wednesday. US gold futures for December delivery rose 0.4 percent to $4,172.70.
