The Minister of Information, Lawyer Dr., confirmed Paul Morcos, in a press conference held this afternoon, said, “We have taken practical steps in the Ministry of Information, in cooperation with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, to file a complaint before the Security Council about the targeting of journalists.” He said, “We meet in the intention and spirit of the Lebanese martyrs, and it is a milestone for us to remember, restore, and cling to the international provisions that protect journalists, and we do not want to overthrow these provisions.” He said: "We will not consider the targeting of journalists to be a common occurrence, nor will we acknowledge it, and I will raise the legal options available to Lebanon in the next ministerial session."
