Some of the representatives are holding a press conference, in continuation of the letter signed by the 86 representatives demanding a reconsideration of Security Council Resolution No. 2790, and working to keep UNIFIL in the south, in light of the risks of its withdrawal and developments related to the implementation of the resolution, and with the Security Council meeting approaching to discuss the situation in the Middle East and its repercussions, at 11:30 a.m. on Monday, October 5, to present the reasons for demanding a reconsideration of the resolution, in preparation for delivering an additional human rights memorandum to the relevant authorities.
