The head of the Syndicate of Gas Station Owners, Georges Al-Barakas, wrote on his page on “AX”: “The decision of US President Donald Trump to withdraw from his intention to ban the export of diesel from America and the decision of the Group of Seven to release 100 million barrels of diesel and crude oil from their strategic reserves within 4 months will ease the pressure on demand in international markets and will push oil and fuel prices to decline, before the US midterm elections.”
