US President Donald Trump announced on Thursday that the United States of America may escalate its military operations against Iran after the midterm congressional elections scheduled for next November, in the event of failure to reach an agreement that “satisfies” him. Trump said in an interview with "Time" magazine: "By destroying Iran, we will have achieved peace in the world. As for the presence of Iran, I do not believe that peace can ever be achieved."
