Minister of Foreign Affairs and Emigrants, Youssef Raji, confirmed that the Lebanese state is negotiating directly on its own behalf and does not need any party to speak on its behalf.
In an interview with Sky News, Raji stressed that the state’s efforts to extend full control over its lands will in no way lead to a civil war.
He pointed out that the framework agreement came as a result of the support war that Hezbollah opened in the south, considering that both Israel and Hezbollah are showing a lack of cooperation in facilitating the course of the ongoing negotiations.
